The launch of Grandma Joan’s Southern Style Food Truck was inspired by the love of cooking and hospitality of Ms. Joan Meyers, the mother of Jackie Wright who is visionary and owner. Grandma Joan loved family, food, and fellowship. Ms. Joan lived in the Hill District of Pittsburgh, PA and was like a grandma to everyone in the neighborhood. Her home in Elmore Square was the spot! She was known for her deliciously homecooked “comfort food” in which she invited family and friends to her place to enjoy! Grandma Joan’s legacy lives on through the food truck, as Grandma Joan’s Southern Style Food Truck was established in her honor.
